Super Invader is a 1979 clone of Space Invaders written by M. Hata for the Apple II and published by California Pacific Computer Company.[2] It was voted the most popular program of 1978-1980 in a Softalk readers poll.[3] Debuting in November 1979, the game sold 20,000 copies by June 1982, tied for seventh on Computer Gaming World's list of top sellers.[1]
