"Stupid Little Things" is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Anastacia, for her sixth studio album Resurrection (2014). The song is Anastacia's first original release in five and half years. "Stupid Little Things" was released as the lead single from the album on 4 April 2014, where it was met with positive acclaim from music critics. Commercially, the song was moderately successful, reaching the top-ten in Belgium, top-twenty in Italy, top-forty in Germany and top-thirty in Switzerland.

Critical reception

"Stupid Little Things" received acclaim from music critics. Directlyrics called the single 'excellent' and viewed it as Anastacia's best song since "Left Outside Alone."[1] MuuMuse praised the song as "an almighty return, and she sounds as defiant as ever. It’s nice to hear those pipes wailing out from the speakers, yeah? Break out those tinted glasses — Anastacia’s back."[2] Pop Justice rated this song eight out of 10.[3] MTV's Brad Stern included it in his 5 Must-Hear Pop Songs of the Week! stating that it was 'return to form' from the 'pop princess and proof that Anastacia’s a true survivor', after her second battle with breast cancer.[4]
