Street Ğädel Qutuy

Street Ğädel Qutuy is a highway in the Soviet district of Kazan, named in honor of Ğädel Qutuy, the Soviet of the Tatar writer, poet and playwright. The decision of the Executive Committee of 08.01.1964 № 1. Street is the axis connecting the eastern part of the city (sleeping areas and a network of hypermarkets) to the city center.

Voznesenskij tract

Tract, may have gotten its name from the village Voznesenskoye, where he was. On the general plan of the city in 1946^[1] years shows that at the future site of Qutuy are building the type of barracks, but in 1969,^[2] the street is already full.

Location

The highway runs from north-west to south-east and has a rather complicated trajectory.

Street continues outside of the Dostoevsky crossing the street Abzhalilova. Almost at the beginning of the street passes over the site of the Gorky Railway Passenger Kazan - Derbyshki.

At the intersection of Ğädel Qutuy - Guards until 2006, was organized by a circular motion, but then this intersection was reconstructed and turned into a regular intersection with traffic lights.^[3] There is a constructive solution, suggesting the construction of a two-level interchanges instead of crossing.^[4]

Environment

On the street are residential, business, garage complexes, other commercial and public buildings. Houses are represented by different architectural styles - from "stalinka" to "new building". On the ground, dilapidated houses are being built high-rise residential buildings.^[5]

In the industrial area near the street is proposed to form a zone of high intensity of use by placing high-tech enterprises, scientific and industrial complexes, business functions, facilities maintenance.^[6]
