Story of The Stones is a compilation album of The Rolling Stones, released in the UK in 1982. Released by the Irish arm of the mail order company K-tel,[1] the double vinyl record or cassette tape album was a best-seller in the United Kingdom, reaching number 24 on the UK Album Charts[2] and being certified silver by the British Phonographic Industry for 60,000 units sold.[3]
