Club career

Blakeley started his career at Wigan where he made eight appearances as a substitute.[1] In 1992, he was signed by Salford for £28,000.[2] He moved to Warrington Wolves at the end of the 1999 season. He played 10 games for the club, but returned to Salford in May 2000 after becoming frustrated at his lack of playing time.[3] He then remained with Salford until his retirement in 2003.
