Stenoma explicita is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1930. It is found in Brazil (Para).[1]

The wingspan is about 19 mm. The forewings are whitish-ochreous closely irrorated grey, appearing light greyish-ochreous and with the extreme costal edge ochreous-whitish. The stigmata are blackish, the plical very obliquely beyond the first discal, a dark grey dot towards the costa rather beyond the first discal, a short fine grey dash in the disc beyond the first discal. There is a curved transverse series of faint greyish linear marks beyond the cell, towards the costa indented and forming two or three more distinct grey dots. A curved series of grey dots is found from the costa at four-fifths to the dorsum near the tornus, sinuate-indented towards the costa and there is a marginal series of blackish dots from one the end of this to the other. The hindwings are rather dark grey.[2]
