Steinfeld Cup

The Steinfeld Trophy is the trophy given annually to the winners of the Major League Lacrosse Championship. The trophy is contested via a 4-team playoff where the top teams (based on regular season record) compete in a single-elimination format during Championship Weekend. Championship Weekend is currently presented by Smartlink^[1] and culminates in the awarding of the Steinfeld Trophy.^[2] The award is named after MLL founder Jake Steinfeld. Since the league's inception, the championship has been played at a pre-designated neutral location.
