Stadiums Limited was an Australian company that owned and administered four venues on Australia's east coast at West Melbourne Stadium,[1] Sydney Stadium, Leichhardt Stadium and Brisbane Festival Hall. It was founded in 1915 with the chief shareholders Reg Baker, Harold Baker and John Wren.[2][3] Previous to 1915, Wren worked with Dick Lean for another company with the same name and at the same venues presenting both boxing and professional wrestling. Wren, as he did in other parts of his life, offered a great deal of money to boxers and wrestlers to perform.[4]
