The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation Secretariat is a complex located in Kathmandu, the state capital of Nepal.[1] [2] The complex serves as the official headquarters of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), an economic and geopolitical union of eight member nations that are primarily located in South Asia.[3]

The headquarters coordinates and monitors implementation of activities, prepares for and services meetings, and serves as a channel of communication between the Association and its Member States as well as other regional organisations.[3]
