Soul Shine Magazine is Canada's highest ranked online music magazine covering independent and mainstream artists from a variety of genres and backgrounds.

History and profile

Soul Shine Magazine was founded in 2002.[1] The magazine is based in Toronto.[2]

Lindsay and Paul Whitfield, the creative team behind the scenes, wanted to give Canadians a music publication that balanced its coverage of independent and mainstream artists, and created a reliable source of new music that Canadians could be proud of and call their own in a sea of cookie-cutter media coverage.[1] Daily music news, interviews, gig and album reviews, gig listings, games, contests, and Soul Shine's indie radio are what make Soul Shine a world class competitor in the local and international music scenes.
