Sony Digital Paper DPTS1 is a 13.3″ (approaching A4) E ink e-reader that is aimed for professional business users.[1] DPTS1 Digital Paper can display only PDF files and lacks the ability to display any other e-book formats.[2] The reader has been criticized for being too expensive for most consumers, with an initial price of $1100.[3] The reader is lightweight and has low power consumption. It has a Wi-Fi connection and stylus for making notes or highlights.[4][5]

Specifications

The 13.3 inch e-Ink Mobius electronic paper screen has a resolution of 1200 by 1600 and is capacitive touchscreen.[6] The device has an ARM Cortex-A8 at 1 GHz microprocessor.[7] It is built on a SoC circuit made by Freescale. The amount of RAM is not published anywhere. Internal storage is 4GB that is shared between system and user, however it is possible to expand this storage with a microSD card. It weights 358g (0.8 pounds) with thickness of 6.8mm.
