PT Smartfren Telecom, Tbk (formerly PT Mobile-8 Telecom Tbk (Mobile-8) and PT Smart Telecom (Smart)) is an internet service provider and CDMA cellular operator operating in Indonesia.[2]

Andromax

Smartfren Telecom has a partnership with some Chinese-based smartphone manufacturers like Hisense, Haier, ZTE, and others to produce smartphones and tablet under the Smartfren Andromax brand. These phones operate on CDMA 2000 1xEVDO Rev A up to LTE with VoLTE and using Android OS. The line up for Andromax is C and G for Low End Smartphone, I and T for Mid to Low End Smartphone, and U, V, and Z for Mid to High End Smartphone. The recent lineup for smartphone with LTE capability are E, Q, and R. Recent series that support VoLTE technology are E2 and R2.

Andromax is well known in Indonesia as an affordable Smartphone.

LTE

To strengthen the high-speed mobile network, Smartfren Telecom has announced launching LTE data services in 2015.
