Sinner or Saint is a Philippine correctional-theme drama series produced by GMA Network starring Dennis Trillo, Bianca King, Alessandra de Rossi (her comeback after three years) and Polo Ravales.[2][3] The series premiered on June 13, 2011 replacing Nita Negrita's time slot in the Philippines and on June 16, 2011 on GMA Pinoy TV, three-days after its original premiere. The series concluded on October 7, 2011 with 85 episodes in all and it was replaced by Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin.

This is also the second suspense-drama afternoon television series after the success of the recently ended television series My Lover, My Wife. Starting May 8, 2014 GMA Life TV airs its English-dubbed version worldwide.

Plot

Raul and Noemi are childhood friends turned lovers, who are set on building a life together. Things go as planned until Raul accidentally kills Noemi's uncle, risking his chance to become a lawyer and Noemi's last hope of escaping her cruel relatives. Out of desperation, Noemi willingly takes the blame in order for Raul to finish his degree and eventually win her case.

Noemi is convicted of murder and is sentenced to serve a long time in prison. In the prison, she meets Sally who longs for her daughter and becomes her mother figure. Meanwhile, Raul grabs the opportunity to be with Corrine, a wealthy adopted daughter of Armand. After an unexpected pregnancy of Corrine, Raul ends up choosing marrying Corrine to secure the future of his family. Noemi learns the truth and left devastated and plans revenge against Raul. Corrine loses her baby while Noemi's daughter was stolen by her cruel aunt as a revenge for the death of her husband. In a twist of fate, Corrine adopted Noemi's daughter.

Sally receives her parole and chases after Corrine, who she thought her daughter. Noemi finds her hope on Alvin, a journalist who is willing to fight for the truth and prove her innocence.
