Simon McIntyre is an English rugby union prop forward who plays for Wasps RFC.[1]

At eight years old, he began playing at Broughton Park RUFC and started his professional career at Sale Sharks in 2009 as an academy player, appearing in five matches in the Aviva Premiership, Amlin Challenge Cup and LV=Cup.[2]

He signed for Wasps in 2011, making ten Premiership appearances in his first season,[3] and was awarded contract extensions in 2013,[4] 2015[5] and 2016.[6] He scored his first try for Wasps against Worcester in October 2012.[7] McIntyre has represented England at U18 level.[8] He is the nephew of former England footballer Brian Deane.
