Silvia Abravanel

Silvia Abravanel Pedroso de Abreu (born in São Paulo, 18 April 1971) is a Brazilian producer, TV presenter and television director.

She is the daughter of the TV host Silvio Santos and his deceased wife Aparecida Abravanel.[1] With her death, Silvio married with the writer Íris Abravanel and Silvia began to call her by mother when she was 4 years old.[2] Silvia is the sister of the SBT's artistic director, Daniela, of the TV host Patrícia, of Rebeca Abravanel, Cintia and Renata. All of them work on Grupo Silvio Santos and on SBT.

Silvia is married to the country singer Edu Pedroso.[3] She is the mother of two girls: Amanda and the firstborn Luana, who suffers from galactosemia (genetic disease characterized by the inability of metabolize galactose, the typical sugar in milk) and from a neurological deficit caused by a delay in childbirth. Both daughters are from previous marriages.[4]
