Signal Festival

Signal Festival is a showcase of light art and emerging technologies in the Czech Republic. Its first edition in 2013 attracted around 250,000 visitors.

The first edition of the festival took place over four days in October 2013,[1] attracting around 250,000 spectators.[2] During the festival, local landmarks used for projections included the Charles Bridge, the Church of St. Ludmila at Náměstí Míru and the Petřín Lookout Tower.[3] The festival, which was held during evening hours, was free,[4] but certain parts required special glasses, which were sold for 30 CZK.[3]

The second edition commenced on 17 October 2014.[5]

It was voted amongst Europe’s top 10 light art festivals by The Guardian in September 2014.[2]
