Shrewsbury House is an independent day preparatory school for boys aged 7 to 13, in Surbiton, Surrey, England.[3] Established in 1865 it is one of England's oldest boys' Preparatory Schools.[4]
Boys at Shrewsbury House consistently achieve excellent results at 13+ and gain entry to some of England's most prestigious public schools.[5]
It has been an educational trust since 1979. It is administered by a Board of Governors.[6] All of the Governors, except two of the educationalists and the medical expert, are former parents.[7]
Since 2010 the Headmaster has been Mr. Kevin Doble.

- Anthony Gross CBE, RA (1905–1984), printmaker, painter, war artist and film director[8]
- Sir Stirling Moss (born 1929), the most famous racing driver 'never to win the drivers' championship'
- Donald Cammell (1934-1996), Scottish film director who has a cult reputation thanks to his debut film Performance, which he co-directed with Nicolas Roeg[9]
- Lord MacLaurin (born 1937), Chairman of Vodafone and chairman and chief executive of Tesco. He is a former Chairman of the England and Wales Cricket Board and a former Chancellor of the University of Hertfordshire[10]
