Shelton Dube
Shelton Dube (born 3 August 1990 in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe) was an English rugby league player with Halifax. He attended Wortley High School and currently lives in Leeds. Shelton began his career on Halifax's scholarship programme. After rejecting a contract from the Halifax, he had a spell on a pay-as-you-play deal at Castleford Tigers, the club he left to join Halifax in the 2006 season. He has since established himself as a first team regular at The Shay. Shelton plays as a hooker. He scored 7 tries in 14 appearances in his first season with Halifax, and 12 tries from 13 appearances this term.
The 2007-2008 season was a hard time for Shelton as he struggled with injuries. After injuring his knee in training before the start of the season, Shelton did not start his season until mid-August.
