Sheikh Omar Hayat

Omar Hayat is remembered for his palace: Omar Hayat Mahal (also known as "Gulzar Mahal"), which he built in Chiniot around the 18th to 19th century.[1]

He was born in Calcutta to a middle-class family and was successful in his professional trading.
