Shearwater (lake)

Coordinates: 51°10′41″N 2°12′40″W / 51.178°N 2.211°WShearwater (or Shear Water) is a man-made freshwater lake near Crockerton village, close to the town of Warminster in Wiltshire, England. Part of the Longleat Estate, the lake is surrounded by mature woodland, and is popular with anglers, walkers and cyclists. It is approximately 600 metres long.
The lake is home to Shearwater Sailing Club, which sails a wide variety of dinghies up to 16 feet (4.88 meters) in length.
