Shaikh Rohale Asghar is a Pakistani politician, and parliamentarian. He was elected as a member of National Assembly on a ticket from Pakistan Muslim League (N) from NA-124 (Lahore) in Pakistani general election, 2013. Rohail Asghar's family was one of the leading political families of Lahore from their native area of Daroghawala. Rohail Asghar's father, Sheikh Muhammad Asghar, was an MPA of Punjab Assembly and held strong control in the constituency, although he was assassinated due to prolonged rivalry with Maja Sikh group of Baghbanpura, which is an equally influential family. His brother, Sheikh Shakeel, who also served as an MPA, met the same fate as his father's. He is currently serving as chairman of national assembly's Standing Committee on Defence. Asghar's son, Khurram Rohale Asghar is also involved in politics serving as the president of PML-N Youth Wing Lahore. Rohale Asghar's influence in his constituency is whatsoever unchallenged as he won the last two elections from there with a massive lead. His political hub, Sunny Biscuit Factory, is located in Daroghawala. [1] [2]
