Sesame Credit

For the American credit score service, see Credit Sesame. For the proposed Chinese government social rating system, see Social Credit System.

Sesame Credit is a social credit scoring system being constructed by Ant Financial Services Group, an affiliate of the Chinese Alibaba Group. It uses data from Alibaba's services to compile its score. The highly controversial score is used to rank citizens in China based on a variety of factors. [1][2]

Baihe.com, a Chinese matchmaking company, uses Sesame Credit data as part of its service.[2]

Sesame Credit has denied rumors that their rating includes data gathered from social media activity.[2]
