Selver Hodžić (born 12 October 1978 in Brčko, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, Yugoslavia) is a Bosnian-Swiss football defender playing for FC Wohlen from the Swiss Challenge League.[1]

Hodžić came to Switzerland as a war refugee in 1993. He played for Zug 94 until 1999, whereupon Hodžić played for a couple of other clubs before signing with FC Thun in 2002. Selver Hodžić has proven his worth as a central defender who is, according to football experts, "A reliable presence at the back, strong in the air and tough in the tackle."

On 27 September 2005, Selver Hodžić became FC Thun's hero with a dramatic winner in the 89th minute against the Czech champions Sparta Prague and thereby Hodžić.

On 25 June 2007, the player signed a two-year contract with Israeli Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv F.C..[2] At the end of the season, he transferred back to Switzerland to Neuchâtel Xamax.
