Segelfluggelände Farrenberg

Segelfluggelände Farrenberg

Segelfluggelände Farrenberg (LCL: DE-0114) (Der Segelflug from the German "glider flight") is a fully equipped infrastructure for take-off and landing of aircraft located in the southeast of the city of Mössingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

The Runway

The airfield has two runways in the grass, a main and a second least used. To divide the two different tracks is a land route used by the staff and members to bring a cable length of about one kilometer until the glider starting position. The runways are about one kilometer long and unlit as the airfield is used only during daylight hours.
