Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific)

Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific) was a Sub-Cabinet Post in the Cabinet of Canada. The post was created in 1993 with the Department of Secretary of State (created 1868) and abolished in 2003 (the Department attached to the post was eliminated in 1993 and the remaining role was finally transferred to the Minister of Canadian Heritage in 1996).[1]
