Scott Sorensen (born 16 March 1993) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who currently plays for the Mount Pritchard Mounties in the Intrust Super Premiership NSW. He plays at second-row and lock. He previously played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the National Rugby League.

Background

Born in Sydney, New South Wales, Sorensen played his junior football for the Cronulla-Caringbah Junior Rugby League Football Club, before being signed by the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.

Sorensen is the nephew of former Sharks players Kurt Sorensen and Dane Sorensen.[2]

Playing career

Early career

In 2013, Sorensen played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks' NYC team, before moving on to the Sharks' New South Wales Cup team in 2014.

2014

In Round 24 of the 2014 NRL season, Sorensen made his NRL debut for the Sharks against the Canberra Raiders.[3][4]

2015

In 2015, Sorensen joined the South Sydney Rabbitohs.[5]
