"Save Dat Money" (stylized as $ave Dat Money), is a song by American hip hop recording artist Lil Dicky from his debut studio album Professional Rapper. It was released on June 10, 2015 as the album's first single. It was produced by Money Alwayz and features guest appearances by Fetty Wap and Rich Homie Quan. It peaked at number 71 on the Billboard Hot 100.[1]

Music video

The music video premiered on September 17, 2015 on Lil Dicky's YouTube account. The video describes Dicky wanting to make the best rap video ever without spending any money. All of the houses, boats, and cars were used without spending any money. Fetty Wap also appears performing onstage with Dicky in the video. The video also features a brief cameo by Matt "The Second Independent Variable" Kelley, who is Lil Dicky's actual provider of Netflix logins.[2] Throughout the video, he goes door-to-door through the mansions of Beverly Hills, asking owners if he can use their homes for a quick fifteen minutes to film it. And one kind lady agrees (which is the house he used in the video). He asked a Lamborghini dealership to borrow a car, and a boater to borrow his boat and models. As the title suggests, he didn't spend a dime. In fact, he earned $600 because of the product placement he exchanged everything for.
