Satudarah MC is a one-percenter motorcycle club that was founded in Moordrecht, Netherlands in 1990.[5]
Satudarah MC has 44 chapters throughout the Netherlands[6] and has opened in Belgium, France, Spain, Indonesia, Malaysia, Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Morocco, Norway, Singapore, Thailand, Curacao, Surinam, Switzerland, Canada, Australia (where the Sydney chapter was shut down as of 11 January 2016)[7] and Turkey.[8][9][10][4][11]
Satudarah MC differs from most other outlaw motorcycle gangs in the fact that it welcomes all races into its club, owing to its historical creation by a group of Moluccans and Dutch friends. The ethnic makeup of the club in the Netherlands is Dutch, Ambonese, Surinamese and others.[1] Satu darah in Indonesian and Malay language means "one blood".
Criminal activities
Members of Satudarah MC are frequently brought into connection with drug trafficking, murder, extortion and weapon trafficking.[12] Satudarah MC is considered extremely violent and ruthless, more so than the Hells Angels in the Netherlands.[8]
