Alexander "Sasha" Chmelevski (born February 16, 1999) is an American ice hockey player currently playing with the Ottawa 67's of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

Playing career

Junior

Chmelevski was drafted 10th overall in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection by the Sarnia Sting. Halfway through his rookie season, he was traded to the Ottawa 67's as the centerpiece of the blockbuster trade for Travis Konecny.[1]

Personal

Chmelevski was born in Huntington Beach, California to Ukrainian parents.[2] He later moved to Northville, Michigan when he was 12 to further his hockey career.[3]
