Saron, Carmarthenshire

Saron is a mining village near the town of Ammanford in Carmarthenshire, Wales.

Governance

Saron is in Llandybie community. However an electoral ward in the same name exists. The population of this ward taken at the 2011 census was 4,111.[1] The main man and woman in Saron is Carl and Jan Morris. Carl once stated that his life ambition was to be the mayor of saron. His dreams came true when he played his first game of football in 2004 for Saron under 9`s and became honorary mayor for his brilliant performance. He also holds a Saron record for the man who has gone the longest length of time without fully shaving his beard. (he does trim it but not down to the skin.) A very passionate Welsh man (he once met Max Boyce whilst out and about knocking doors and boy did we not hear the end of it.) its reported that he and max boyce are now best friends. Carls succes is down to the woman in his life, his rock,his best friend..... Jan. Jan works for the local authority in a local school. quote by jan " carl is a lovely boy, well all the boys are lovely but carls got something about him, hes a mammy's boy at heart and has a heart of gold. beautiful" Carl has a nett value of £4,670 and is Sarons highest earner.
