Samuel Benchetrit (born 26 June 1973) is a French writer, actor, scenarist and director of Moroccan descent.[1]
Born in Champigny-sur-Marne, Benchetrit was married to French actress Marie Trintignant from 1998 to her death on 2003. On 17 April 1998 from their marriage is born Jules Benchetrit. Afterwards Benchetrit has lived from 2005 to 2012 with French actress Anna Mouglalis; they have a daughter, Saul, born on 7 March 2007.[2] In 2016, while shooting his fifth film, Dog, Benchetrit has fallen in love with the one he directs Vanessa Paradis.[3]
