Samantha Strong (born June 9, 1967) is an American former pornographic actress. Her first scene was in the film Merry X-Miss.[2] She won the 1988 AVN Award for Best New Starlet and is an inductee in AVN Hall of Fame.[3]

Career

Strong began her career in the 1980s, looking to do some adult modelling work. She gained a reputation of being the "bad girl of porn".[4] This reputation was in no small part accentuated by her backstage behavior, where she would many times show up late to the sets, often to the point where the producers would wonder whether or not she would show up at all.[5]

At the peak of her career, Strong was able to pull in $25,000 to $30,000 a week.[6] In 1998, she was employed by Dennis Hof at the Moonlite Bunny Ranch. She would charge a minimum rate of $1,000.[7][8]

Personal life

She gave birth to a son, but gave him up for adoption shortly after delivering him.[4] Strong was previously in a relationship with fellow actor Randy Spears. Spears has in a 2016 interview described their relationship "painful".[9]

She was in a relationship with author and police informant Jimmy Keene, who aided the police in securing a confession from serial killer Larry Hall.[10][11]
