Salil Sand

Salil Sand is an Indian film critic, entertainment reporter, writer and motivational speaker. He is an independent script writer for several channels including Zee TV, Star Plus, UTV, Balaji Telefilms and Doordarshan.[1][2] Salil has been part of shows like Tara (TV series), Titan Antakshari, Hum Paanch (TV series), Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Shapath, CID (Indian TV series), Aahat, and many more. He has also scripted for serials like Kya Haadsa Kya Haqeeqat, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasturi (TV series), Kahiin to Hoga, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Maat Pitaah Ke Charnon Mein Swarg, Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, Kuch Kehti Hain Ye Khamoshiyaan, Mastaangi, and many more.[3][4][5] Salil has been a part of the creative team for events like Filmfare Awards, Screen Awards, Stardust Awards, Indian Telly Awards, Miss World 2000 and Millennium Live.

Early life

Originally from Allahabad, Salil has been a gold medalist and a post graduate in Genetics from The Mumbai University. He has worked in EL TV, Sony Entertainment Television as well as Zee TV before he started working as a freelance writer and a creative director.[6]

Career

Salil Sand started his career with EL TV (1993), Sony TV (1994), and Zee TV (1997). He recently headed E24 (TV channel) , an entertainment news channel and is currently setting up his own production house.[7]
