Mohd Saifulazam b. Mohammad Yusoff (born 12 August 1969 in Gombak, Selangor, Malaysia), also known as Saiful Apek, is a famous comedian in Malaysia. He used to be the member of a comedy group called Senario,the word "Apek" is a Chinese slang for an old man, he is called Saiful Apek because he used to be the host for the television show called Melodi, where he often wears Chinese clothes and speaks in Malay Language with heavily Chinese accent.

Biography

Early life

Saiful Apek was born in Gombak, Selangor. At his birth certificate and IC No., the date 12 August 1969 but actually, his real birth date is 12 May 1969.

The confusing occurred due to the 13 May incident when he forced to given to another family due to unavoided reasons and then it would registered.

He married Roslina Abu Hassan on 11 June 1994 and they have two sons, Mohd Riyadh Aslam and Mohd Radzin Aiman.

Career

Saiful Apek's talent were discovered through the first season of Sinaran Pasport Kegemilanganin 1994, organized by TV3, once popular through a TV3's comedy series Senario. He was also the host of the most popular entertainment shows in TV3, Melody with Fauziah Ahmad Daud using Apek name.

He owns his production company, Gitu-Gitu Production Sdn Bhd and has been named as the Most Popular Star on Anugerah Bintang Popular Berita Harian 2003 (ABPBH03).

According to him, he has starred in 38 films in 13 years of involvement in the showbiz.
