Safapora

Safapora(صفاڀوره), also pronounced as Safapur, is a model village in Ganderbal District, of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is located about 13 kilometres towards west from district Ganderbal and 30 kilometres from state capital Srinagar. Manasbal Lake, the deepest lake in India is located here surrounded by two Mughal gardens Qazi bagh and Jarokha Bagh (meaning bay window) built by Nur Jahan.There is a Wullar Manasbal development authority In Safapora running by state government. In Ganderbal district, Safapora is the only highest literate area having highly qualified doctors, engineers, professors, Administrative officers etc.
