Star Vijay, commonly known as Vijay TV or simply Vijay, is an Indian Tamil language general entertainment private broadcast television network that is owned by the Star India,[1] a subsidiary of American multinational mass media corporation 21st Century Fox.[2] The channel currently broadcast from Vijay House, Nungambakkam, Chennai.[3] Star Vijay originally launch on 1994 as Golden Eagle Communication. The channel later known as Vijay TV until 2001. The shows include a mix of family dramas, comedies, reality shows, shows on crime and movies. Star Vijay launched its high-definition counterpart, Star Vijay HD, on 29 May 2016.[4] Star Vijay recently launched a new channel called Vijay Super on the 25 August 2016.

In Canada, the channel and most of its shows are distributed via the Asian Television Network and is branded as ATN Star Vijay. It is also available via the internet protocol television service, Lebara Play.
