Stephani Danelle Perry (credited as S. D. Perry in her works) is an American novelist. She is the daughter of writer Steve Perry.

Perry primarily writes tie-in novels based on works in the fantasy, science-fiction, and horror genres, including Resident Evil, Star Trek, Aliens, and Predator. When not on deadline for contracted work, she writes original horror.

Perry, who prefers to be called Danelle, lives in Portland, Oregon, with her family.[1][2]

Perry also wrote the novelization of the movie Timecop in 1994,[4] and the novelization of the movie Virus in 1998. She contributed to the Magic: The Gathering anthology Tapestries with a story entitled "Inheritance."
