Ryslinge Folk High School (Danish: Ryslinge Højskole) is a Danish folk high school placed in the small town Ryslinge on the Danish island Funen. It was founded in 1851 by Christen Mikkelsen Kold and was one of the first folk high schools in the world.[1] In January 2012, Ryslinge Folk High School changed its name to Ryslinge Innovation Folk High school. It is now the only folk high school with a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. With 6 different specialities related to innovation and entrepreneurship as a part of the education, Ryslinge Innovation Folk High School tries to solve some of the challenges in the surrounding society.[2]
