Ryan Adam Stone (born March 20, 1985 in Calgary, Alberta) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who currently plays for Hamburg Freezers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.

Playing career

Stone was drafted from the Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings in the second round, 32nd overall, by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Stone recorded his first NHL point on an assist to Chris Minard against Ryan Miller and the Buffalo Sabres on March 12, 2008.

On January 17, 2009, he was traded by Pittsburgh along with Dany Sabourin and a 4th round pick to the Edmonton Oilers for Mathieu Garon.[1]

On July 7, 2010, he signed a one-year deal with the Calgary Flames, though played that season with their farm club, the Abbotsford Heat.
