The Pennsylvania Rugged Maniac 5K Obstacle Course event debuted in Mohnton, Pennsylvania in 2016. The event currently takes place at the Maple Grove Raceway, the site of a quarter-mile dragstrip.[1]

History

2016

The inaugural Rugged Maniac Pennsylvania was held at the Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton, Pennsylvania. The event featured 25 obstacles over a length of 5 kilometers, which included underground tunnels, trampolines, warped wall, and a water slide.[2][3] Approximately 3,500 participants raced in this event. Brian Louis, from West Chester, Pennsylvania and also a qualifier for the OCR World Championships, posted his first Rugged Maniac win here.[4][5]
