Royal Club is a Dutch brand of soft drinks, marketing its soft drinks at an adult market.

The brand was originally property of Tims. Tims produced the drinks bitter lemon, ginger ale and tonic water since 1939.

In 1961 the brand was transferred to Vrumona, which is owned by Heineken International.[1] In 1976 it introduced a shandy, which became one of its most popular kinds of soft drink; it was reintroduced in 2015, with 0.5% ABV.[2][3]

In 2001, Vrumona launched a massive recall procedure due to a technical mistake with bottles of Royal Club Fruits de Pays. 100cl bottles of orange juice were containing too much yiest making the bottles at risk of exploding. 270.000 bottles were retrieved. [4]
