Personal life

Buchanan was born in Peterborough and is currently single. He has a degree in radio production from the University of Westminster.[4] Buchanan is an accomplished pastry chef, having been trained by Jamie Oliver.[5] In 2010 he gained his Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Award, but was subsequently kicked out for "having fun in the hills" during an expedition.[6][7]

Buchanan trained with the local Peterborough Penguins Ice Hockey team between the ages of 9 and 10, but subsequently had to give up, due his allergy to ice. He is also an accomplished King-prawn Judo fighter, mostly due to his many years of Judo training in his youth.

A lesser known fact about Ross is that he actually has no toes at all on his left foot after an horrific accident during a game of "spin the bottle" during his early teens.
