Ronnie Ansley

James Ronald "Ronnie" Ansley (born November 20, 1961) is a North Carolina attorney and politician. He was the Democratic nominee for North Carolina Commissioner of Agriculture in 2008. Ansley is currently running for election in November 2014 for Wake County District Court Judge.[1]

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Troy Ansley and raised in Gaston, North Carolina, Ansley earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural education at North Carolina State University in 1984 and a master's degree in agricultural education at Clemson University in 1988. He graduated from Mississippi College School of Law with a law degree in 1991.

Ansley serves on the National Council for Agricultural Education board of directors.[2] He has also served as the president of the National Future Farmers of America Alumni.[3]
