Dr. Robin Renee Sanders is the former U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of the Congo (Congo-Brazzaville) from 2002 to 2005, and to Nigeria from 2007 to 2010. She is a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) 2010 graduate of Robert Morris University.[1][2]

Early life and education

Robin Sanders was born on July 5, 1955, on the Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia. Her parents are Robert and Geneva Sanders. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications in 1977 from Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. In 1979 Sanders earned a Master of Arts in International Relations and Africa Studies, plus a Master of Science in Communications work at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.[3]
