Robert Crichton (Lord Advocate)

Robert Crichton (died 1582), of Eliock, in Nithsdale, was Lord Advocate of Scotland.[1] He purchased Clunie Castle and the adjoining lands from the Diocese of Dunkeld where his cousin, Robert Crichton, was bishop.
