Riel Nason is a Canadian novelist.[1] Her debut novel The Town That Drowned, published in 2011 by Goose Lane Editions, won the Commonwealth Book Prize for the Canada and Europe region in 2012.[2]

She lives in Quispamsis, New Brunswick,[1] and is also a columnist for the Telegraph-Journal newspaper in Saint John.[3]
