Rhodesian constitutional referendum, 1969

A double referendum was held in Rhodesia on 20 June 1969.[1] Voters were asked whether they approved of a new constitution and the declaration of a republic.[1] Both proposals were approved by voters.[1] The country was subsequently declared a republic on 2 March 1970.[2]
