Reservations.com is an on-line hotel reservations booking travel website purchased from Sabre Corporation, the largest Global Distribution Systems provider for air bookings in North America.[1] The website is based out of Florida, USA.[2]

History

The company was founded in July 2014. Originally established as a basic online booking agency, the company eventually sought to serve travellers with specific needs. Reservations.com domain was purchased from Saber in 2014. Reservations.com has a strong partnership with Expedia, in which all inventories is procured and supplied.

Web Presence

In 2014, Reservations.com bought the domain rights from Sabre. Reservations.com offers a variety of social media outlets, including: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and tweeter. The company also hosts a blog called "Wanderlust" geared towards curious travelers who want to learn more about travel opportunities around the globe.[3] Sabre Corporation, in December 2013, handled approximately 85000 data transactions every second for customers according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.[4] In June, 2016, the company was reported with an 84% overall guest satisfaction.[5]

The company partners with non-profits, charities and government organizations to help support local communities through their charity program "Giving at Reservations".[6]

In 2016 the company united with HotelPlanner.com in order to offer group travel packages to their clients.[7] Hotelplanner offers negotiated rates to a global roster of 50,000 hotels.[8][9]
