Rebeca Arthur

Rebeca Arthur (born March 17, 1960) is an American actress raised in Cumberland, Maryland.

After majoring in dance and drama at the University of Maryland, she moved to New York to pursue a career in entertainment. Following a string of jobs, she answered a classified ad search for "Real Life Charlie's Angels", and began a second career as a private investigator. After three years of detective work, she returned to working in the entertainment industry. She landed recurring roles on both The Guiding Light and Search for Tomorrow. In December 1983, she moved to Los Angeles and was cast in guest-starring roles on Remington Steele and Newhart as well as a role in the feature film "About Last Night". From 1986 to 1993, she appeared on Perfect Strangers as Mary Anne Spencer, a flight attendant and eventual wife of Balki Bartokomous (Bronson Pinchot).

Arthur made several appearances on the Circus of the Stars television specials, and completed the television movie Running Mates with John Forsythe.[1]
