Rasmus Steensbæk Lauritsen (born 27 February 1996) is a Danish footballer, who plays as a centre back for Danish 1st Division club Skive IK.

Youth career

Lauritsen has both played for Herning Fremad and Brande IF as a youth player, before transferring til FC Midtjylland in the summer 2011.[2]

Lauritsen started playing football in Brande at the age of 4.[2]

Club career

FC Midtjylland

At the age of 19, Lauritsen got his official debut for FCM on 8 November 2015, in a Superliga match against Esbjerg fB.[3] Lauritsen started on the bench, but replaced Kian Hansen in the 85nd minute in the match, who FCM won 5-1.

Skive IK

On 5 January 2016 Danish 1st Division-side Skive IK confirmed, that they had signed a 2-year contract with Lauritsen.[4]

Private life

Lauritsen has a twin brother, who currently plays for the U19 team of FC Fredericia.[5]

His favourite player is Andy Carroll and his favourite team is Arsenal.[6]
